Guests of Honor
In 2014 Paganicon will feature not one, but two authors: Oberon Zell Ravenheart and Deborah Lipp. Together, these two voices bring an exquisite mix of magical backgrounds, from Wicca to modern day Wizardry, and add a wealth of scholarship, experience, authority and wit to what promises to be a year to remember.
Oberon Zell is a modern Renaissance man. He is a transpersonal psychologist, metaphysician, naturalist, theologian, shaman, author, artist, sculptor, lecturer, teacher, and ordained Priest of the Earth-Mother, Gaia. His books include Grimoire for the Apprentice Wizard, Companion for the Apprentice Wizard, Creating Circles & Ceremonies (with Morning Glory Zell), A Wizard’s Bestiary, and Green Egg Omelette: An Anthology of Art and Articles from the Legendary Pagan Journal. You can learn more about Oberon at his official website at www.oberonzell.com.
Deborah Lipp is the author of six books: The Study of Witchcraft, The Elements of Ritual, The Way of Four, The Way of Four Spellbook, Merry Meet Again, and The Ultimate James Bond Fan Book. One of these things is not like the other. Deborah became a Gardnerian Witch in 1982 and a High Priestess in 1986, and has been teaching Wicca and running Pagan circles ever since. She’s been published in many Pagan publications, including newWitch, The Llewellyn Magical Almanac, Pangaia, Green Egg, and The Druid’s Progress, as well as Mothering Magazine. She has lectured at numerous Pagan festivals on a variety of topics. You can learn more about the author on her website: www.deborahlipp.com.
Featured Guest – Taylor Ellwood, author of a number of books on magic including Manifesting Wealth, Magical Identity, and Inner Alchemy. He is also the managing non-fiction editor for Immanion Press.
Opening Ritualist – Poet, storyteller, and liturgist Steven Posch will be leading a Golden Calf ritual directly following the keynote speeches, which involves leading a procession, installing a shrine, and opening the Third Offering Art Show, 2014.
