We welcome the flowers and the Moon this May. The Moon will be Full on Friday, May 24th at 11:26 PM Central at 04° 08′ Sagittarius
The May moon is usually known as the Flower Moon, but it is also called the Milk Moon, in China it is the Dragon Moon, in Medieval England it was the Hare Moon, and some pagans call it the Grass Moon. Many other tribes and places had many other names, but the current most common reference in America is the Full Flower Moon.
Our ideals and concerns will be blooming this Full Flower Moon
The Sun in Gemini heightens our ability to communicate with others, but the Moon, opposite in Sagittarius, heightens our ability to distort their reactions. The sun and moon are each square neptune right now, as well. The Square is a 45° angle, which creates some difficulty.
Since Neptune is in Pisces (the Great Counsellor), we get a wealth of water which is tough to grab hold of or pin down, and results in a wishy washy soup of best intentions. Expect to experience a vague sense of concern toward unrealistic and/or unattainable ideals. This dynamic trio of Neptune square the Sun and Moon will lead to an urge to fix other people and their problems. Any action you take will likely be perceived as meddling, despite a desire to do good. Anything you say or do can and will be used against you in the court of public opinion.
So, what can we do?
The solution is to resist the urge to fix other people. If you are a Pisces, Sagittarius or Gemini, you may not even be aware you are doing this because the impulse is so strong. Do not scratch that itch to help, however uncomfortable it may be. Your attempts to help will be perceived as interference and wind up hurting your own feelings, amplified by the full flower moon.
Choose Which Garden You Tend
Instead of foisting your ideals upon the unwary, focus upon the Mercury-Venus conjunction in Gemini, which fulfills the heart-chakra yearn to interract with people. Try playing problem-solving games and puzzles in a group. This will pull us back to Gemini’s strength in communication and cleverness, and satisfy the urge to problem solve as well as interract with others. As long as the problem you are fixing is not another person, this will work out great. This is also a good tactic if someone is trying to to be overly helpful. Redirect their attention to a problem or a shared cause, and everything will come up roses.
