About the Instructor
Julie has become quite popular as a belly dance instructor around the south side of the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area, teaching full classes at select gyms and fitness centers. She has belly danced for six years, originally trained at the Cassandra School and as a member of the Guild of Oriental Dance. She came from a background in Flamenco training, yoga, pilates, and learned Hula and Tahitian Dance in Hawaii. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theater, and Speech Communication. She developed the Goddess Belly Dance series merging her love of belly dance and another love she’s practiced for ten years: celebrating the goddess.
